Mato is a modern-looking icon pack for Linux. Inspired by Googles Material Design guidelines, these icons are made to look simple and colorful with subtle use of shadows. The icons are based on their original icons so they stay recognizable while gaining this new look.

All currently available icons are displayed on the bottom of this page. If you'd like to submit icon requests or bug reports, head over to the GitHub issue tracker.

For easy installation, packages are available for certain distributions. These distributions include Arch Linux, CentOS, Fedora, openSUSE, RHEL, Scientific Linux and SLE.

You can also download Mato manually from the releases page. To build and install Mato, extract the package, open a terminal in the extracted folder and run the following command.

make build install
